QUESTION: I need to know your opinion on this question, because I am not sure what to think about it. Do you think it's wrong to work at Burger King/Murder King if you are a vegetarian? Yes, I work there, but I am thinking of quitting due to my vegetarian beliefs. The only thing is that they do serve vegetarian burgers, but you know they do participate in killing poor innocent animals. What should I do?
ANSWER: I was faced with a similar problem a few years back. I was volunteering at a local zoo and felt that I was supporting keeping animals in captivity. However, Burger King has made major strides in lessening pain of animals in the food industry. I have personally written many letters supporting Burger King. They are years a head of many other fast food industries, and I, for one, support their effort. Support your job at Burger King, and let the management know how happy you are that they are serving the BK Veggie Sandwiches!
