QUESTION: I am trying to get rid of all my beauty products that have animal
ingredients in them, but I need help. Is there any major brand of toothpaste
(meaning a common brand that would be easy to find) that is vegan and not
tested on animals? And also shampoo and conditioner. I know that herbal
essense is animal product free, but it is put out by evil Procter and
Gamble! Grrr.
ANSWER: Some suggestions for Oral care products are Lavoris, Topol Tooth Polish,
and a product I've used before is Tom's of Maine which I would highly
suggest. Most are availible in health food stores, or you can check out
www.VeganEssentials.com for other oral products!
