BREAKFAST:
Cacao-Banana Milkshake:
Usually when I wake up in the morning, my mother has already made me a Cacao (raw chocolate)-Banana Milkshake, which we have had daily for nearly six months. This is really is quite heavenly, and very healthy and filling.
After this I usually have a shot (one ounce glass) of Goji Juice. Goji Juice is the juice made from goji berries, which have been attributed to the enormously long lives of the peoples living in the Tibetan region and the western regions of China. There is a link to this on my website, located in the Links section of www.chroniclesofthelight.com
After that I usually have two to three Clementine oranges, or a banana, or some grapes; any fruit that's available.
LUNCH:
Salad:
At lunch, I usually have the food staple of the raw food diet: salad. Usually I eat a combination of field greens and spring mix, topped with some raw pine nuts. Now, what is a salad without dressing, right? On my salads, I like to either have an Italian Vinaigrette Dressing, Sweet Italian Dressing, or Ranch.
On the side, I might have some spiced nuts from Nature's First Law, or just simply some grapes, or other fruit.
AFTERNOON SNACK:
Like everyone, I get hungry in the afternoon, after my workouts. So, I usually come downstairs and roam the fridge and pantry until I find something to my liking. This is random everyday.
DINNER:
Pizza:
I don't know many people who don't like pizza, and raw pizza is no exception. Now, my mother and I have come up with three different types of pizza: Mexican (Guacamole and Pico), Italian (Cheese and Olive), and Thai (Thai Sauce and Veggies). These are all very nutritious, and are relatively easy to make.
DESSERT (MMM…):
Cacao Pudding:
Cacao is essentially raw chocolate. It is the bean that is used to create the toxic concoction that we, today, call chocolate. (Did you know that the factory-made, regular chocolate that most candy bar companies use today is so toxic that the trucks that ship it in large amounts must have the "Toxic: Dangerous Substance" labels upon them? Interesting fact, considering that many organizations and government institution proclaim chocolate as healthy and beneficial in small increments.) With RAW ground cacao beans, we add several ingredients and create a heavenly, smooth raw pudding. This sure does satisfy one's sweet tooth.
More or less, that's usually what I will eat on any given day. On top of this, there are several other recipes including: Apple Pie, Unchicken Patties, Sun Burgers, and many others which we alternate regularly.
