"Sing The Sorrow" has been AFI'S biggest album yet. And for a good reason, it rocks!!
I mean this is one of the best albums of 2003!
Spinning off three hit singles "Sing The Sorrow" is what got AFI into the mainstream rock.
Not that it matters all that much to AFI; they say they're just doing it for the love of the music, and for the fans.
Now you can't call AFI punk, hardcore, or goth, but they are rock in a way. Still you can't put them in just one category. The same goes for this album. From the really dark song "Silver and Cold" to the semi-happy "Dancing Through Sunday," this album has it all. You could say "Dancing Through Sunday" is a dark song, or whatever you choose to think it is, because AFI isn't going to tell you, or anyone else, the true meanings of their songs.
Some people think "Sing The Sorrow" is AFI'S first album, but that’s not true. AFI has been a band for over 10 years, and in all those years they've put out quite a few records. I haven't heard all of them, but from what I have heard, AFI is just a really good, veggie, rockin' band.
"Sing The Sorrow" is sure to be a classic!!
