Mandy Moore's latest release, "Coverage," stocked store shelves as of October 2003. Along with this new CD, Mandy also has a fresh, new look-- and takes her music along with this image. Moving beyond the preconceived "Bubblegum" image, with songs such as "Drop the Pilot" and "Can We Still Be Friends," we feel an almost childlike innocence and hope. Mandy belts tunes of happiness, love and life - most of which are remakes of her favorites of the past, yet all re-created amazingly. Her sweet and beautiful voice speaks to your heart, and warms you from within.
When I heard her latest music for the first time, I completely understood what Mandy meant when she said, "'Coverage' is something so special to me. Something I could not be more proud of. A project that is full of passion like I've never experienced before. I can't tell you how sincere I am about that." When you listen to these bright and vibrant tunes, you're sure to feel the same love and happiness she poured into these tracks. "Have a Little Faith in Me" is just one of many wonderful songs on her new CD, and one I truly love. The first verse of this inspiring song is, "When the road gets dark, And you can no longer see, Let my love throw a spark, Have a little faith in me."
When an artist pours their whole heart and soul, their entire passion into making an album, to me that is the greatest form of art, the greatest self-expression. This is what Mandy Moore has achieved. If Mandy's older music was not your cup of tea, I strongly urge you to "Have a Little Faith" and have a listen to Mandy's newest creations. And if you already were a Moore fan, this CD will only increase your love and admiration for her and her wonderful music.
