"Shattered Mirror Syndrome," Thought Riot's first release on Anti-flag's record label, fully embodies the band's political and social views. "Not Our Property" is a track about how animals are not put on earth for human consumption. Another song on this record, "Sign of the Times," is about how the straight-edge movement is becoming more of a trend and losing it's power.

This five-piece combines fast energetic music along with profound songwriting. Some might even need to obtain a dictionary while browsing the lyrics. I would definitely recommend this CD to fans of punk or political music. Also, check out their latest release, "Sketches of Undying Will."
