The Terror State

Tom Morello, from Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, helped produced Anti-flag's latest album. However, being a fan of Rage Against the Machine, and an avid Anti-flag fanatic, I was a little disappointed with this album. The songs were "pop-pier," and the songwriting just wasn't as impressive as their older albums.

There is a lot of "Bush-bashing" in this album. One thing that annoyed me was the layout of the lyrics. The images were great but the lyrics were somewhat hard to read. But it's made up for with some short paragraphs about the meaning behind the songs.

I love this record since it sounds like their past records which I also love. A bonus: the inside of the cover of the CD is a image of Bush and instructions on how to use that image for spray-painting or silk-screening.
