First off, the mint scent is very strong. Some people might think that is a bad thing; some might think it's good. It's refreshingly cool and really does help chapped, dry lips. The cool feeling lasts quite a long time compared to all other lip medications I've tried. Basically, everything it says on the wrapper of the treatment is all true. It's effective and long-lasting. It's all you could want in a lip treatment. I have no complaints. I would buy it and I would recommend this product to anyone with dry lips.
Read another teen review of Kathy's Lotions and Oils!
And the review which appeared in the Jan/Feb 2003 issue of Vegetarian Baby and Child magazine:
Our testers know what they're talking about when they tell you that Kathy's products live up their claims: pure, long-lasting, and hard working. Our teen reviewer is a swimmer, exposed to sun in the summer and chlorine year-round. She described the lavender shea butter lotion as light, not oily, making her skin feel silky. "The lotion is made up of only natural ingredients, and smells so good!" One of our adult reviewers lives in a very dry climate and has sensitive skin. She uses Kathy's citrus massage oil for her weekly massage, and she swears by it.
We even love the containers themselves, with labels full of quips and anecdotes from Kathy Swanson's real-life family of Minnesotans. These lotions and oils are "never tested on animals, but thoroughly tested on my family," say Kathy. Since that would include Grandma, Grandpa, 12 children and 40 grandchildren, I'd say that's plenty of testing! Each bottle encourages funny and interesting recycling tips. The line also includes soap and body wash. Visit the website at www.kathys-family.com.
