I am a strict vegan and animal rights person, and I want a tattoo. Are there animal safe inks out there with vegetable glycerine? I haven't been able to find a definite answer.

Angie, age 17: I think some are vegan, because there are plenty of vegans with tattoos. I think you should just ask the artist first (I forgot to ask).
Kyra, age 18: Yes, there are many different kinds of vegan inks. The best thing you can do is talk to the person who will be doing the tattoo. If (s)he doesn't have any, it may be a little more expensive, but they can order it.
